Speak with Confidence, Lead with Impact: 73 Young People, One Saturday Morning

On June 6, 2026, PUNDI supported HKBP's Education Board in hosting a Public Speaking & Presentation seminar, "Speak with Confidence, Lead with Impact," at the congregation's Hall in East Jakarta. The half-day session drew 73 participants — predominantly youth and young adults under 30 — and was led by professional presenter and trainer Dr. Charles Bonar Sirait, covering effective communication, overcoming nervousness, body language, and personal branding through interactive practice and coaching.

The results reflected real impact: 87.8% of participants rated the seminar highly beneficial, 90.2% were very satisfied with the trainer's delivery, and more than 85% reported increased confidence in public speaking afterward. For PUNDI, this is what our youth empowerment pillar looks like in practice — equipping young people with practical, transferable skills they can carry into careers, community leadership, and service, in partnership with local congregations and training partners who share our commitment to holistic development. Building on this response, the organizing committee is already planning follow-up sessions on storytelling, digital communication, and leadership.
