Impact & Accountability
We publish our figures with the method behind them. Where a figure is an estimate, we say so. Where we do not yet have evidence, we say that too.
Cumulative Result 2021 - 2026

How we count
Meals served counts subsidised meal packages sold, not individual beneficiaries. One person buying five meals is five meals, not five people.
People reached with safe water is derived from dispensing volume divided by average household consumption. It estimates population reached. It is not additive across years, and we do not present it as a cumulative headcount.
Business survival is measured by follow-up survey six months after graduation, not at the point of completion.
Partner-delivered activity is reported separately from direct implementation. Where a programme was held under the auspices of a partner institution, we identify the institution and describe our own role.
Where our figures differ across documents, it is because definitions differ, not because results changed. We are consolidating to a single definition per indicator and will note any restatement rather than making it silently.
Independent Evaluation
In February 2024 our safe water programme was assessed by an external evaluator using a mixed-method design: a structured survey of 130 beneficiaries, key informant interviews, and nine site visits across two regencies and five administrative cities, covering operations from the 2021 financial year onward.
We commission external assessment because self-reported impact is not evidence. Our livelihoods and next generation programmes have not yet been externally evaluated; doing so is a priority for 2027.
